Cheongdae Times Editor-in-Chief Gyeong-Im Bok
Seven articles were published since I became editor-in-chief of the Cheongdae Times. After publishing this article, the 2021 Cheongdae Times will end. At the beginning of 2021, I was worried if I could write an article faithfully while performing the duties of the editor-in-chief. When I looked back, I saw the results I had accumulated steadily.
The result is not perfect, but I felt proud of myself as I saw the traces of my efforts. The worries I felt at the beginning of the year came from the fear of the new work. I overcame the fear of the new work and reached the end. As a result, I became stronger. We had an especially difficult time because of COVID-19 this year. Nevertheless, we welcomed a happy ending.
There may not be many achievements left this year. But I think the effort is more important than the size of the results. Even if it is a very small result, if you feel satisfied with yourself, that is worth it. Now, we have to say goodbye to 2021 and move on to a new start. It also sends a goodbye to past events that make you look back.
I appreciate the readers who have been with the Cheongdae Times until the end of 2021. The Cheongdae Times will continue with your bright future. I look forward to meeting you again in 2022.
