Cheongju University (Chairman. Cha Chun-soo) The Entrepreneurship Support Group announced on April 4 that it had signed a business agreement with the Chungbuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chungbuk Intellectual Property Center (Chief. Jeong Ji-moon) and ‘Chungbuk Provincial People's Intellectual Property Capacity Enhancement and Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.'
In accordance with this agreement, the Cheongju University Start-up Support Group and Chungbuk Intellectual Property Center jointly promote intellectual property education for local entrepreneurs and Cheongju University students. Jointly held various events such as festivals and seminars.
Cheongju University Incubation Support Center and Chungbuk Intellectual Property Center jointly hosted the 2018 IP (Intellectual Property) Zone 2nd Training, and 22 Cheongju University students completed intellectual property training.
Cheongju University Entrepreneurship Education Center established a systematic and phased entrepreneurship support system (SEIP+S) to help current students develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary for the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and hyper-connected society.
In particular, since 2015, we have held a specialized patent camp for current students every year, and continuously trained intellectual property-based entrepreneurship, including the creation of 243 intellectual property start-up courses and 72 patents for intellectual property.
In addition, Cheongju University's founding club Electron received a silver award at the “BIXPO International Invention Fair” hosted by KEPCO.
Cha Hyeong-Woo, the director of entrepreneurship support, said, “Cheongju University Entrepreneurship Education Center will support various entrepreneurship programs by establishing governance with related institutions such as strengthening collaboration with local entrepreneurs.”
